Privacy Policy

1. Who processes your data

The operator of Onlooker and controller of its users’ personal data is Individual Entrepreneur Oleg Anatolyevich Stryukovatyy, operating under the brand STRYUK & AI WORKS. OGRNIP (individual entrepreneur registration number): 321784700058250. INN (tax identification number): 781005132066.

For personal data enquiries: contact@onlooker.live.

2. Data we process

Depending on the features you use, the service processes:

Video viewing history does not mean that every page opening or camera snapshot view is recorded as a live-video view.

3. How we use data

We use data to operate accounts, show streams, manage cameras and access, save Favorites, send service notifications, handle enquiries, protect the service and analyse its use.

Visit and viewing statistics help us understand which features and cameras interest users.

4. Who can see information

Profile details and contacts that you choose to make public may be visible to other users.

Adding a camera to Favorites makes you a follower of that camera. Its owner can see your public name and open your public profile containing the information and contacts you chose to publish. Registration, subscription and last-visit dates are not shown in the Followers list, including to administrators. Your private sign-in email address does not become public simply because you follow a camera.

The service superadministrator can access account, camera, permission and statistical information as needed to manage the service. Private cameras are available to their owners and authorised users. An authorised superadministrator may also view private cameras for technical support, security and handling complaints. Ordinary administrators are not given access to private cameras.

We use the following providers:

Providers may process recipient addresses, relevant message contents and technical information needed for their functions. This does not mean that each provider receives the entire user database.

5. Streams and recordings

Onlooker relays live video and displays camera snapshots. The service does not provide users with a server-side video archive.

Recording by a camera itself, for example to a memory card, is a separate equipment feature. Its owner is responsible for configuring and using it. Viewing and visit records are stored separately from video recordings.

6. Cookies

The service uses cookies and similar mechanisms necessary for authentication, session management and interface functions. Restricting these in your browser may affect some features.

7. Storage, retention and security

The main service server and user database are located in Virginia, United States, in the OVHcloud Virginia region (US-EAST-VA-1). Backup archives are kept on this server and downloaded to the operator’s local computer. Providers also process the information needed for notifications and email within their own infrastructure.

Retention periods:

The operator creates backups manually. After a new archive has been created and verified, previous archives are deleted from the server. The operator deletes the previous local copy after downloading its replacement. Backups must be replaced or deleted within 30 days; this is managed by the operator rather than an automatic age-based deletion timer. Deleted database information may remain in a backup until that backup is replaced or deleted.

We restrict access to data and use measures to protect it. Information may be retained longer where required by applicable law. Copies of emails and messages held by external providers are managed separately from notification records in our database.

8. Your requests

You can contact contact@onlooker.live about access to your personal data, correction, stopping processing or deleting your account. Account deletion is also available in your profile.

We may ask you to verify that you own the account. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

9. Policy changes

The current policy is published on this page with its update date. We will communicate material changes through available channels.
